HF-800 - With Grapple* - Auger Cone Screw Splitter For Excavators

Available to Order Now! Split, move and position logs without changing attachments.

Now you can have the best of both worlds! U.S. Pride is now building and shipping our integrated HF-800 (1 or 2 speed) cone screw splitter with integrated 52 inch rotating grapple. Combining the two attachments into one package allows one operator to split, move and position logs without changing attachments or getting help from a second machine and operator. The new U.S.A. made grapple rotates 360 degrees allowing easy loading and positioning of logs for stacking or further processing in a horizontal grinder or chipper.

Both HF-800 splitters remain the same great splitters that they have always been. Specifications and productivity of the HF-800 one and two speed splitters are unchanged. This new splitter/grapple package should boost your productivity and minimize the number of operators needed on the job!

HF-800 - With Grapple Retrofit Kit (Fits HF-800, HF-600 & HF-500)

Available to Order Now!

If you currently own an HF-800, HF-600 or HF-500 auger cone splitter, you can buy the Grapple Retrofit Kit from U.S. Pride to upgrade your splitter. The kit is a fairly simple bolt-on install. It consists of a grapple, excavator mounting brackets, and a hydraulic control valve with wiring (and switch) that will run into the excavator cab. The switch allows you to instantly change the hydraulic control valve between grapple and cone screw splitter functionality. When you finish with the grapple, it clamps onto a steel lug on the splitter mounting frame to keep it secure and out of the way. Flip the control valve switch and you're ready to run the cone screw to split the BIG stuff!
